What we do
Plastic partnership produces very high quality, 95/5 or greater PET Bales consisting of clear and light blue post consumer water and carbonated drink bottles that have been collected from within 5km of the ocean. We do not collect from curbside schemes and landfills.
The Problem
Ghana’s water can be unsafe to drink and as a result, the majority of it’s 30 million population drink daily from single use plastic bottles. Accra, our capital, generates over 2,000 tons of plastic waste daily and with a lack of effective municipal waste collection, a lot ends up in waterways, the ocean and landfills or is burned.

In 2022 we started by furbishing a disused factory, adding new modern equipment and building a high throughput layout ready to scale

About our PET bales
High quality, high density bales (520kg average weight 20-22 tons per container) consisting of high quality, hand sorted clear and light blue post consumer PET bottles
All bottles are collected from the the general environment, in central and outer regions of Accra, the majority are collected from within 5km of the Ocean.
With thorough quality control processes in place, Lean and Agile techniques are used to continuously inspect, adapt and improve our processes and rapidly respond to feedback

Radical Transparency
We welcome any prospective customer to inspect our factory, material and bales live from anywhere in the world via our high definition cameras. If you prefer to come and and see us we’re less than a 6 hour flight from Amsterdam London, Paris, Frankfurt or Rome.

As a radically transparent, customer centric organisation, we enable our customers and potential customers to join us in live Zoom or Teams video sessions where our operation can be viewed.
During the call participants are free to ask us to zoom into any part of our production operation live during production.
Our materials do not come from Landfills
We’ve developed an app than enables us to track exactly where our supply comes from (81% from within 5 kilometers of the ocean, 100% from within 30km). As a plastics manufacturer, if your customers care about the source of supply you’ll find us the ideal supplier to work with.
