It takes the equivalent of 3 bottles of precious water to produce 1 bottle  of water, The manufacturing process consumes a quarter bottle of oil and adds to air pollution

Distribution
Distribution costs million of $$$
Transportation

If we keep consuming at the same rate the production of plastic will account for 20% of global oil consumption million of tons of greenhouse gases

Consumption
Single use takes just minutes
Consumption

The average single use bottle is consumed in less than 1 hour. 80% of Plastic bottles are never used again
