Whether you are an individual a school or a business You can earn money by collecting plastic bottles
We pay you GHc 100 for a net of plastic bottles
Plastic partnership pays 100 Cedis for a full net of clear and light blue plastic bottles (based on 125kg in weight)
What you’ll need to get started
- A single fishing net – Ghc20
- A pair of gloves
- A place to store the net as it fills up
How to start
- Call us to register as a collector (we pay you by mobile money “Momo”)
- Speak to restaurants, shops and households in your immediate area and arrange to collect their used bottles
- Fold the bottles to make them more compact and put them in a fishing net.
- Delivery them to any of our collection centers where the nets are weighed
- Get paid immediately and take away a new fishing net

Plastic Partnership helps small entrepreneurs to build their business
5 nets per day
When you have built a consistent volume of 5 nets per day, Plastic Partnership will help you acquire a tricycle to make delivering the bottles to our collection centers easier
10 nets per day
When you have built a consistent volume of 10 nets per day, Plastic Partnership will help you acquire an electric tricycle to help deliver the bottles to our collection centers faster
30 nets per day
When you reach a greater volume, plastic partnership will help you set up your own small collection center where other collectors can contribute to your volume and get paid.
FAQ
Q. Do you accept any kind of plastic bottle
A. All clear and light blue water bottles are accepted, we specifically do not accept brown malt beer bottles or green bottles
Q. I’d like to organize all the pupils in our school to collect water bottles are there any incentives for doing so other than money
A. Plastic partnership works with schools to provide equipment ranging from musical instruments blackboards speakers, uniforms for needy children to laptops for classes and teachers get in touch with us to learn more
Q. My small business consumes a lot of water bottles are you able to pick up from us.
A. Yes we will put you in touch with one of our collector network partners. The financial arrangement is left for you to negotiate with the collector
Q. We have hundreds of people in our church, how do you work with churches
A. Churches are an important part of our society and we support the work that they do in our communities. If your church is more than 200 worshipers we provide a collection skip where each family can bring in the water bottles they consumed during the week. We work with you to provide incentive prizes for the families that collect the most. Every Tuesday our collection truck will collect the bottles, weigh them and the church will be sent mobile money on the same day.
