World Environment Day 2025 – Our Commitment

Plastic Partnership – Fighting Single Use Plastic Pollution, One Collection at a Time

Plastic pollution is one of the most urgent environmental challenges of our time. At Plastic Partnership Ghana, we are committed to tackling this crisis by collecting, recycling, and repurposing plastic waste to create a cleaner, greener future.

Our Mission

We believe in a world where plastic waste is no longer a threat to our environment. Through community-driven collection efforts, we work to:

  • Reduce plastic waste in Ghana’s cities and waterways

  • Promote sustainable recycling practices

  • Educate communities on responsible plastic disposal

World Environment Day 2025 – Our Commitment

This year’s theme, “Ending Plastic Pollution Globally”, calls for urgent action. We are stepping up our efforts by:  Expanding our collection network to reach more communities Partnering with local businesses to promote plastic-free alternatives Hosting educational workshops on sustainable waste management

We employ a full time teacher who visits schools in Accra helping them to create recycling programs. We intend to use our real world experience to provide campaign ideas and material aligned with this initiative to create awareness and action programs across Ghana

We fund conferences and provide speakers to talk about reducing, reusing and recycling single plastic products.

We provides musical instruments, laptops and books to schools in exchange for bottles collected by the school and their pupils
